- What is the main mission of this site?
Keiichi Anime Forever was started as a general anime fan website back in 2004. Therefore,
we really don't have one specific goal. We think of new and innovative features when we
can, implement them, and move on when necessary.
- Why has not KAF gotten any new features for a few years now?
Time. There is only one website programmer and, as he is now attending a university,,
he has little time to think of new features, less design and create them.
- Who designed the layout(s) for KAF?
The owner/founder/programmer of Keiichi Anime Forever.
- Does this site make money?
To an extent. However, all of it has gone to paying server bills or for purchasing new
equipment (dedicated servers, KVM over IPs, hardware firewalls, etc.).
- So what happened to the online anime episodes?
Our episodes were wiped. However, the real catalyst
that caused the shutdown of Os2 Anime was the declining availability of episodes.
Allowing visitors to contribute episodes proved to be a disaster, as the quality of
the index became exceptionally bad (as typical of many user-contributed sites). No one
had time to comb through thousands of submissions (per day) either. Since we don't
like putting our visitors with a half-baked service, and so we felt it best
to shutdown the website.
- Is it true that Keiichi Anime Forever was the first site to offer online episodes like that?
Yup. You can check the Internet Archive for the beginning of
January 2006.
- What happened to Os2 Music?
The demand was exceptionally low.
- What happened to the OST downloads the first time around?
Too many people were using it and we did not want to add advertisements. Therefore,
we had the shutdown the service.
- What happened to the manga reader?
A forum database failure in February 2005 put the manga reader project to an end. It
was a bit of a regret for the lost, since there were next to no manga readers
available in 2005.
- What happened to the online karaoke service?
Nothing ever materialized. No one had time to find or create subtitle files.
- What happened to the Interactive Manga Project?
It was never really alive to begin with.
- There are a lot of pages that have not been updated for years.
That is true. Some pages have not been touched since 2004. However, no one really has
time to change these pages.
