But first, I'd like to point out that while much of the content in this thread overlaps with the forum rules, it does not replace them! I will do my best to keep this updated, but I do not guarantee it. The Official Rules will always take precedence over anything posted here.

I've forgotten my password. Now what? DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Like most sites that require a username and password, KAF has a link right on the login page for just such a problem. Just click on the link and follow the directions. If you are a new member, you might still have to validate your account before continuing. Click on the "Resend Validation Email" link at the top of this page and follow the directions.
How do I delete my account?
How do I delete my account? In short, you can't. We don't delete individual accounts, but we can offer you a name change (see next FAQ).
How can I change my name?
How can I change my name? Name change requests can be submitted to the Admin Inbox, however, there is a limit to the number of times you can have it changed - once every two weeks. The exception to this rule is if you want to change it back to your original name.

How do I change the title under my avatar? Members with 10 posts or more are able to change their titles. To edit your title go to My Controls -> Personal Profile -> Edit Profile info -> Custom member title.

Why was my signature (or avatar) removed?!
Why was my signature (or avatar) removed?! It was removed because it violated one or more the forum rules. It was most likely too large in terms of file size or dimensions, or it contained inappropriate content. Your signature cannot be larger than 600 pixels wide, 200 pixels high, and total more than 100 kb. The file size of your avatar cannot be more than 20 kb.

I don't understand! What's the difference between dimensions and file size? The dimension refers to the width and height of your signature - how much space it takes up on your computer screen. It is measured in pixels (those individual tiny dots on your screen).
File size refers to how much space your total signature (images + text) takes up on a computer hard drive. The file size of text is very small so it's the images that you have to worry about. File size is measured in kilobytes (kb).
About Posting and Post Count
Why isn't my post count increasing?
Why isn't my post count increasing? Not every forum within KAF increases your post count when you post there. These include Forum Games, Random Rambling, and most temporary themed forums.

Retoggler Retoggler tags are just like Toggler tags except you can click them again and again.

How do I post an event on the forum calendar? View the Calendar by clicking on the link in the top right corner of the page. Once there, you can add an event by clicking the Add New Event link in the bottom left corner.
