Ok all. I have now fixed it so that everyone can have a max of 9 Chars. Only downside is you have to re down load the kafRO.rar .

I have updated the kafRO.rar file on the first post it now has the updated sakexe.exe file in it that allows for 9 chars.

And it also has the fixed client.xml file so that no one should have to edit it no more to join the server..

You can get the link for the updated file from the first post or. Here or here.

You don't have to copy all the files.. If you have already got in and are able to play etc.. Just copy over the updated sakexe.exe file in the rar file and over right your old one and start playing agin.. All there is to it..

Update installed and running smoothly. Awesome.

... I already have 2 RO servers down loaded. Will it be worth it to down load this one as well?

SO you offer anything like, free donates when you first register or something?

If you already got two down loaded all you have to do is add the kafRO server to your client.xml don't have to down load everything you can have more then one server listed.. lol.

And no nothing giveing right now just normal stuff start out with 5k gold.. rates are 5/5/4 and you can play with other KAFer's at some point like to give the ablity of allowing people to make up quests that can be done that they think up them selfs.. Or custom maps etc..

There is alot of open ablity to RO it seams now days.. From Custom Maps,Sprits,NPCs,Quests etc

How To Add Another Server To Your List.

Open the sclientinfo.xml located in your "c:/Program Files/Gravity/RO/Data/" Folder (That is if you used defult install path.) using notepad and you should see something like this.


To add another server to the list so you don't have to have multipule installed of the game just add the new server info to it .. After where it says </connection> hit enter a time or two and add in the new info so that it looks something like this..


When adding the other server info you don't need the hole thing agin you just need the stuff from <connection> thro </connection> and if you got a 3rd or 4th just repeat... When you start up your RO you should all the server listed now and you just select the one you want to play on.

Is it possible to down load the client from the RO site and get the other files from you? It's a LOT of down loads that might be simplified...but I dunno, just offering.

I'm trying to get to play it...but that's a LOT of down loads.

My advise, get the runtime files instead of the RAG_SETUP, I posted the link earlier in this topic and also put it here. You will have to install Sakray properly to play it, and yeah, that's 1 GB down load. I do recommend using a tor-rent if you can.

Note; you can't get the client from the RO site unless you're registered (and paying).

Ya have to go with the links found about in this threed or tor-rents. Cant just down load the one off the main RO website 1 it has to be the Korean version of the game and don't think you can down load that any more inless you have a Korean IP so.

tor-rents, most do pretty well. If you get the runtime files from here you only need the sak_setup, but you won't have any music ingame.

On a ingame note; I accidentally messed up my skill build, (a really, really stupid miss click) and I was wondering if you planned to have something like a reset NPC or not (I'm actually against those) since I might have to start over.

There is a Skill Point reset NPC in Pront at 146,232 but it only does Skill Points not Stat points and you have to be a first job class with job level lower then 40

In that case I'll have to start over... /sob

Ok there is a normal Reset Girl NPC in Pront now near the middle. But it will cost Zeny to use it..

wait a second...

this will allow people to get insane builds, I don't know if it's a good idea. If people want to reset that bad, at least let them pay a million zeny or something in that direction, this is madness xD

Ya I probley wont leave it for long. Tho I will for a bit so people that are just learning the game and stuff can reset if they mess up as well..

Tho in the long run I will probley end up moveing it to another place probley some place you have to hunt to get to that you will have to be a good high lvl to reach as well as probley uping the Price..

Maybe it's an idea to make the price level*50.000 and level*100.000 for rebirth characters for each reset.

the Reset one don't look at what class and stuff you are.. So not really a way of doing that with the current one there.. With out re programing it witch don't know enoph about it to do i can only do basic stuff..

$&*%, now I gotta get to Prontera! O_O Screwed up my stat building not too long ago, and I thought I was SCREEEEWED. Too bad I have to leave for an 8 and a half hour work shift, huh?

Edit: Nevermind, made it to Prontera before I had to leave. Thank you, teleportation services.

Perhaps we should consider making/attaching a forum to the KAF RO website, to cut down on the cluster we got going on in this thread.

About the rewriting of the reset NPC, I could do that. If you want I could write out some content for the CP as well, it's so empty! xD

@Spyder; nice going on the leveling. If you want to plan out your character a little, try out some tools like gn0me's skillplanner or doddlercon's calculator for statpoint distribution.
