Killing spammers in KAF backyard...
Well, as most of you, I love Animes, and obviously mangas (special mention to Evangelion). I'd be really such an idiot to come on a board were people are only speaking of that without being interested in those - lol. But I also like...
- Books and reading, even if presently I don't read a lot of books due to my scans collection xD... The fact is I can read really fast. If I have nothing else to do, I may read two regular-sized books in a day. And sometimes even more.
My favorite genre are Sci-Fi [Special motion to Isaac Asimov (Robots, Foundations series) and to Frank Herbert (Dune)], followed close by Heroic-Fantasy [Special motion to J.R.R. (Bilbo, LOTR)], and High-Tech polars... I don't know the classics, I almost never read them, because what I like to read is stories, not techniques...
-Playing games. I particulary love the Final Fantasy series (not FF 11, my favourite staying still the 08).
-Movies:
Here are the ones I really like, those are just the ones I saw at least 5 time and that I own: BraveHeart, Conspiracy Theory, Contact, Dune (the small mini-series, not the movie), Forrest Gump, The Green Line, Matrix, Abyss, Lethal Weapon 1 to 4, Black Hawk Down, City of Angels, Cutaway, Dark City, Demolition Man, Die Hard (1st one only), DragonHeart, The Expert, Furyo - Merry Christmas Mr Laurence, Gladiator, Godzilla, The Big Blue, Gremlins, all the James Bond movies, The Mask, Men In Black (1st one only), Mission To Mars, Lost In Space, Rain Man, Red Planet, Robin Hood the Thieves' Prince, Police Academy 1 to 7, The Postman, Rock, Save Willy, Speed, Sphere, StarShip Troopers, StarGate, Terminator (2nd), Top Gun, WaterWorld.
Here are the one I don't own but I'd like to get one day: AI, Always, Crying Freeman, Doberman, Equilibrium, E.T., Fight Club, Highlander, Hot Shots, The Last Samourai, LOTR, Resident Evil 1 to 3, The Patriot, Tom Cats, Terminator (1st one only), Wing Commander.
You don't believe me about the fact I've seen those movies 5 time? I have more than 500 DVDs. Actually... 622. ;p (in fact a little more that I should add, but it's a good approximation). And I was once a lot in that (even if now I'm more into animes).
-& TV Series :
Here are the ones I like, in order of importance for me : X-Files, Veronica Mars (well, I love little blond-haired girls...), Star Trek, Stargate SG1 (even if I don't have most of it), Urgences, Alias, JAG (for the airplanes shots), Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, Rex, 6 Feets Under, Newport Beach, The Unit. I probably forgot a lot of them anyway.
-Playing sports: I like swimming (I've swum for something like 18-19 years). But other sports too... I like Tennis (played for more or less 10 years, but stopped, it was more my mum's occupation than mine).
-Doing nothing (the perfect contrary of the previous one? I'm FULL of contradictions xD).
-Katana (I didn't put an S at the end of the word because it's a japanese word, but I love swords as I'd love learning how to use it... And yes, I put an s to Animes and Manga at the top of this description... Well, it wasn't that much of a rule I set up for myself at the time I started this description. But now I try to follow it...).
-Last but not least... My favorite singer... Natalie Imbruglia. |

Well, my real name's Vadim, I'm a 24 YO good-for-nothing guy who passes all his free time online or on computers or playing games. I've studied biology for a while (but now it bothers me a little). I live on a small island on the middle of south pacific that you've probably never heard of anyway so it doesn't matter (Tahiti).

I'll list here (thanks to sk) all the alias I've used so far, and a little explanation about why I've choosen them and why I'm attached to them:
01-Riogi: it was my first nick on KAF. I was already nicknamed like this IRL because I was using that nick when I was playing at Counter-Strike at the library. It obviously comes from the fact I'm one of the biggest Evangelion freak around.
Why I did choose Riogi instead of Shinji? Well, it's because I do look a little like him. And also, even if I'm closer to Shinji in my behaviour IRL, the fact is Riogi is the only one who got access to a certain pair of watermelon (no, flcooly, I'm not speaking about your family - lol).
As some of you may have seen it, I've made a spelling mistake, it should have been Rioji, but I've noticed that little problem only after a long time. And the mistake was only a mistake in the translation, but in French, when the g is in front of "e" and "i", it's pronounced "j", and it's a great thing I've made that little mistake because in most of the forums, the Rioji version is already taken.
02-Ishida Ryuuken: choosen in 2006 for 24 days and in 2007 for 12 days. After some time in the staff (I was then only a Super Moderator), sk asked to me personnally to change my nick for the Great Bleaching operation. While watching a site with the character descriptions, I choose almost instantly Ishida, because of the glasses, and because I had the feeling the character and me were physically close (again).
I did heard about Bleach, I had the first episodes, but I wasn't at all watching it (I was avoiding Bleach and Naruto at that time). It's thanks to sk that I resolved myself to watch the beginning, and I'm still following it up to today.
But, again, I made another mistake... Damn those Japanese calling people by their family names XD because the Ishida I was thinking at was... Uryū (lol).
03-Chan-Dono: choosen in 2006 for 18 days. I was in my Black Lagoon period. It's a really good series, which is relatively not famous, and I suggest if you haven't watched it to take at least a look at it. Again, physically close to the guy. And I loved how he reacted with the grenade...
It was actually the first time I changed my signature and avatar for a long period of time.
04-KAF's Lagging Cause: choosen in 2006 for one day. I think we had some connexion problems at that time, and it was a joke.
05-メリークリスマス: choosen in 2006 for 4 days. Xmas nick.
06-New Year's Eve[: choosen in 2006 for 6 days.
07-The Cookie of Frenchies: choosen in 2007 for 9 days. Basically, I had no funny idea at the moment, that's the reason the nick is so uncool.
08-Armenia: choosen in 2007 for 4 days. It was the Country period. Since Japan and France were already taken, I've choosen that one due to my own origins.
09-Giovane D'Onore: choosen in 2007 for 19 days. It all began with sk speaking of me working for the organization, so I made a post with a list of all mafia's positions and the staff that would correspond the most to it. It's an associate member, usually someone not of Italian ancestry. As far as I remember, only sk (Capo di Capi Re) and Taka (Capo Crimine) followed the idea.
10-Père Noël: choosen at the end of 2007 for 17 days. Xmas nick.
11-Ishida Uryū: forr the 2008 (and third) Great Bleaching, I've Bleached my mistakes from the first and second ones... I've never tought it was a mistake to choose that character, and the evolution of the Bleach confirmed myself, because I really loved Yoshino Sōma. And, even if I really think the Rantao trick was a little too easy, I'm glad I was able to see her face again in the series.
12-Suzaku Kururugi: after the Great Bleaching, it seems that a new tradition will pop up on KAF... Well, maybe we'll not have a second one, due to the fact the series will not be a long one, but it's really a good show. But, this time, sk was really late to discover it (lol).
Second time I've decided myself to get a new set and to wear it for a long period of time.
